Before you begin your interview, Feenyx will check that your computer has all of the necessary hardware connected and permissions granted, including the following:
Camera. Feenyx must detect a valid camera. If you have a camera, please grant Feenyx permission to access it. Once connected, you should see the camera's view in real time on the screen. If the camera still cannot be detected, you can go to https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/devices/input-output/ to see if your computer/browser supports WebRTC technology.
Microphone. Feenyx must detect your microphone to continue. If the microphone is connected and showing as the selected option but Feenyx is still unable to mark it as such, please clap or speak into the microphone to trigger the system detection (sometimes the environment can be too quiet). If the microphone still cannot be detected, you can go to https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/devices/input-output/ to see if your computer/browser supports WebRTC technology.
Sound output. Feenyx must detect a sound output source to continue. You can also test your volume.
Network latency. Feenyx requires latency less than 500ms to pass the hardware test. We recommend that you find a quiet place with a good internet connection to start your interview.
If you still can't continue, please reach out to Feenyx Tech Support using the "Tech Support" link on the left. Please have a screenshot ready.
That's all you need to know about Feenyx hardware requirements. Best of luck with your interview!ย
